The Timeline Overview
ARC is working closely with EPA Victoria to restore this facility.

ARC commenced excavating and relocating the inappropriately disposed of material to a temporary stockpile in August 2019. The material mainly consisted of commingled demolition waste.
The task involved excavating the waste, most of it which had been burning for years, spreading it out, smothering it, running water over it and letting it cool down, once the fire was out, relocating it and placing it in the temporary stockpile. These temporary stockpiles are covered and are visible from Sunbury Road.
This task was completed by June 2020.

The Cell construction has now been completed and audit report completed and lodged with EPA.
We have also commenced placing the rubbish stockpiles back into the completed cell.
